Dominican Coffee Smoothie

Add to blender:

  • ½ cup of chilled espresso or strong dark coffee
  • ½ cup coconut milk beverage*
  • 1-3 tsp brown sugar to taste
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • ½ to 1 cup of ice cubes

Blend until smooth:

  • Finish with a dusting of cocoa powder or ground chocolate

*Note: Do not use pina colada coconut milk or can products. Coconut water may be OK but read label first
